Pristine room. Recently refurbished. Attention to detail eg selection of teas coffees The staff at the inn were so friendly and Jonathan made sure we were well looked after. Food was excellent. Home cooked and so tasty. All the locals were friendly too and made us and our dog feel extremely welcome and at home.

The Hawkenbury lies 3 minutes’ drive from Staplehurst and offers bed and breakfast in a converted stable block. This Kentish inn has a bar and restaurant, and offers free on-site parking and Wi-Fi.

  • We would love to stay on 25th July as we are at a wedding however the wedding starts at 1:30 and finishes at 12, would be be able to check-in

    You would be able to check in early hopefully as long as the people staying the night before haven't requested a late check out. Regards Alison Woodbridge

  • Hi we have 2 small dogs & wondered if can they come with us for breakfast & is there places to eat in the evening with them.

    Yes your dogs can join you at breakfast. We will be doing food on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday when we open on 17th May after lockdown. The days we do food could increase deprending on demand.There is an Indian restaurant in Staplehurst.

  • Hello, I’m going to a wedding in Biddenden on Saturday 28 August. How easy would it be to get a taxi from there to you? Thanks!

    Hello If you book the taxi well in advance you should be OK, but don't expect to phone up on the day and get one as taxis are few and far between in the area. Hope this helps Alison Woodbridge

    We only have 3 rooms 2 doubles and 1 twin. All the doubles are booked so the twin room is the only one available.
