The location is awesome, plenty of green, trees, the scenery is perfect. The old building travel you to the past. Easy parking, gym and pool are available on the place.

The room was clean and basic. It's what we wanted. The grounds were beautiful and saw lots of wildlife. The single bar women was trying her best and didn't forget about us when it got super busy which was lovely. The breakfast was lovely.

    We fully follow Government guidelines, but we have remained with 2m social distancing. The whole estate is zoned and individual requirement are looked after as required.

  • Hi, do you have a bus service to York centre? If not, what other options are there?

    Bus numbers 30 or 30X. Closest bus stop is around half a mile away. Alternatively, taxi is around £30 one way.

    Hi There is, however not very frequent, busses number 30, 30X and 40. Please be aware nearest bus stop is half a mile walk from the Hawkhills.

    Hello, Our evening meal is a buffet style service serviced between 7pm-8pm. The menus change a on daily basis but offer lots of choice including any dietary requirements. Hope this helps. Regards
