“Friendly staff offering very good service despite the covid restrictions, which were adequately and sensibly applied. Good, clean, comfortable rooms with the only (minor) issue being a bit of traffic noise at the front of the property. Food is traditional English pub fare: decent quality, generous portions and sensibly priced. Overall excellent value for money though.”

“A lovely traditional old pub with very good guest rooms. Friendly staff, all very helpful. Breakfast was great & the one evening meal we had there was excellent, plenty of choice & all homemade. Used as base for visiting family & touring the area, just what we wanted. Recommended”
