It was in a lovely Village. We were there for a Funeral and had driven for four hours. We received a warm welcome. We messed up the booking with various changes before arrival, due to sickness etc, but the staff were very understanding and accommodated our needs. We were served a lovely breakfast and nothing was too much trouble like extra toast, coffees and juices.. The beds were really comfortable. The rooms were clean. I had a room without En-Suite but the shower room and toilet were right opposite. And extremely clean .. Tea and coffee in the room if we wanted it. There is a car park at the front and we had no problem parking two cars, without charges. Thank you everyone for your hospitality. Lovely kind staff. The (full English) breakfast was delicious, also the vegetarian variant. Warkworth is a charming, tiny village almost surrounded bij the river Coquet and an impressive castle-ruin.

The staff I met (one barman in the evening, one woman at breakfast, as well as the female proprietor in the morning) were very friendly and informative, my bedroom was adequately warm and (as answered above, the bed very comfy, nicely firm, while the room was very quiet despite the road outside - albeit I was the only guest those nights, so no other guests). The breakfast was substantial and very good. Overall I felt very at home when there. The proprietor, Vickie, had apparently only taken over the Inn 3-4 months earlier, so I can't comment on how much she has improved it. But she has the most wonderful Northumbrian accent I have ever heard - and I am not unfamiliar with NE accents; I lived in the NE for 5 years-

The manager has recently taken over this lovely pub, in a great location and has some great ideas. The decor is slightly tired but she is addressing this. The bedroom was basic but comfortable and the shared bathroom was immaculately clean although again dated - The shower pressure was great. The full English breakfast was frankly one of the best and most generous that I have had in years. It really set me up for the day. The previous evening's meal was also very good, I chose a simple meal of baked potato and coronation chicken filler with salad. It really filled me up. The beer, Marston's, I think, was smooth and satisfying. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. This place was really good value for money. All I wanted was a place to lay my head - I got much more.

I felt so much look after. Everyone was very kind and open to have a chat. Very friendly atmosphere! And the room looked lovely, is above the pub and definitely has a vibe that is unforgettable (and was very warm, too!). And the breakfast was enormous and delicious! I'd definitely spend the night there again if I'd be in the neighborhood.
