great location that suits my needs, friendly, welcoming staff, great value evening meal and breakfast. I love a place with character, somewhere that is popular with locals and where you can relax.

Originally a 14th century coaching inn, the Horse & Jockey offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. Located in Knighton town, close to the Offa's Dyke Center, the inn offers a cozy lounge bar with log fire and a main bar with weekend entertainment. At the end of the large courtyard is an 80 seater restaurant which offers an extensive menu. Booking is essential at weekends. All our rooms are located on the first floor around the courtyard. Due to the age of the building and the location of the rooms, there could be some noise disturbance during the weekend.
Couples in particular like the location – they rated it 8.7 for a two-person trip.
