Room information

New for 2007, 5 rooms with private bathrooms have been built in the old hayloft above the restaurant, which used to be the stables. The 6th room is found in the cottage. Each room has its own individual character; 5 are twin and one is a large king-size double. All are en suite with a bathtub and shower, tea and coffee tray and flat screen LCD TV.

Area information

700 years ago Knighton was the scene of one of Owain Glyndwr's famous victories against English invaders. Now it warmly welcomes tourists to this charming and historic border town.

Knighton is steeped in history with sloping winding streets and half timbered houses. It is a good place to stay for visitors who are striding the length of Offa's Dyke or exploring the beautiful Teme Valley in more leisurely style. On each Thursday the market has livestock. A lively carnival takes place in August.
