“It was our first post-lockdown trip and a total delight. The inn is next to a beautiful churchyard which was full of birdsong as we sat outside to have our first dinner out in months. The food was perfectly cooked and presented- with ingredients sourced locally such as halibut and wild garlic hummus. It's worth having the cooked breakfast feast - home-made bread, creamy porridge with fresh strawberries and a full English. I'm quite demanding about my poached eggs and these ones were perfect. And a shout-out for the meaty Dingley Dell sausages.”
