Kestrel is located on the Portnellan Estate and offers tasteful 4 star self catering accommodation sleeping up to 6 people within 3 bedrooms, fully tiled bathroom with bath and overhead shower and an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The bedroom configuration is a king sized double and 2 twin bedrooms all fitted out with sumptuous Egyptian Cotton bed linen and towels. A newly Oak effect fitted kitchen with all mod cons including oven, ceramic hob, microwave, full size dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, larder fridge/freezer. The open plan living and dining area is immediately off the kitchen. Step from this area onto a private balcony with garden, outside furniture and a spectacular unrestricted view of the iconic mountain of Ben More and Glen Dochart. The chalet is equipped with a LCD TV, Blu Ray DVD and freeview SKY TV. Wi-Fi is available free of charge as well as Weber BBQ hire.

It is not unusual to see the deer meandering off the hill and passing nearby the chalet. Portnellan Estate is the perfect base for exploring Central/West Scotland with known landmarks only a short distance away. Oban 45 minutes, Stirling, Fort William and Glasgow just over 1 hour and Edinburgh a 90 min drive. Glen Coe and all it beholds is less than 40 mins drive and the bonnie shores of Loch Lomond are 20 mins by car. Other areas include the truly beautiful Glen Lyon and Loch Tay, Glen Etive, Glen Lochay and Glen Orchy all within the local area.
