“The bedroom was very clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room looked out over the grass and trees at the back of the hotel and was quiet. We had dinner in the evening in the restaurant. Steak pie and chips was good. My steak was a bit tough and the chips could have been browner and crispier, but overall the food was ok for the price and the portions were huge.”
