The Eliot room we stayed in was charming and the whole property was immaculately clean. Sarah and Tim are both very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend The Library as a place to stay.

A nice extra touch was coffee and cake when we arrived. There was fresh milk provided in thermos flasks for tea/coffee in our room, and any items we ran out of (tea, coffee, shower gel etc) were replenished each day.

Antique opulence with all mod cons. I could get used to living this way. Or at least holidaying this way. I requested vegan breakfast and the lovely hosts provided super tasty and very imaginative options each day. They also went above and beyond in other ways- such as phoning round local places to find us somewhere for dinner serving suitable food and open on a Monday. Ironbridge is lovely too - we canoed under the bridge and shopped local and vintage treats.

Experience World-class Service at The Library House B&B
The Library House B&B is a Georgian townhouse dating back to 1735 and offers accommodations in the heart of Ironbridge. Located 800 feet from the historic Iron Bridge, complementary parking permits are available and valid to use through the town.
All three double room come with private bathroom, flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, extra blankets and hotel water bottles for the colder weather. The Standard Double room is the smallest out of the three rooms, but benefits from it own garden area.
Guests will also have use to the shared, south-facing garden at the rear of the house.
Afternoon tea and home-made cakes are served to all guest upon their arrival at the property. Breakfast is served daily and offers a wide range of cooked dishes from local suppliers where possible, including vegetarian, as well as fresh fruit and cereals.

The Library House is a fine, Grade II Listed townhouse that dates back to around 1735 and has served variously as private house, doctor's and dentist's surgeries, town registrar and, as the name suggests, the library. Set back from the road in a quiet backwater,it has been a B&B for around 40 years. The current owners (since 2013) , Sarah and Tim Davis have substantially restored the house, preserving the many original features and decorating it in a sympathetic contemporary style, yet one that suits their collection of antique furniture and artworks that fill the house. For breakfast, the emphasis is on locally sourced, fresh products. In the current hosts' tenure, it has won numerous awards, with guests visiting from all over the world, be it for pleasure or business.
Centrally located in the heart of the historic World Heritage site of Ironbridge with its many bars and restauarants all a short walk away, the town also benefits from eight award-winning museums dedicated to the town's pivotal role in the Industrial Revolution and the resulting growth in industry, all of which are within a short drive or walking distance. Telford International Centre is five miles away and Ironbridge is conveniently situated for Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth and Ludlow. The town is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and offers fine walking.
