“We enjoyed everything about our stay at The Millstone. Our room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped; we particularly appreciated the provision of an electric fan. The bathroom was very large and the shower was excellent. The bar and restaurant were lovely; the dinner menu gave a good range of choices, the food was very well cooked and presented and the service was exceptionally good. All of the staff were very friendly and efficient. The Hotel has continued to adhere to Covid-19 guidance, which we found very reassuring.”

“Really nicely converted old inn. We checked in not realising that we were in the annexe, a short walk across a car park which was wet and cold. Could park right outside though. The main door to the annexe didn't lock at night (a fault). When reported the staff member said that it had been "looked at" but obviously not fixed. The room was comfortable, newly refurbished and very warm, the heating didn't go off at night. Clean though dusty at the bottom of the wardrobe and by the bed. Doesn't get a good deep clean”

“My whole family stayed here the night before the wedding and they did everything to accommodate us, including giving us late checkout on a couple of rooms and putting all our tables for dinner in a corner of the restaurant for ourselves.”
