“This is an absolutely super, friendly little hotel. Allan and his team have made remarkable efforts to ensure guests' comfort. The service significantly exceeded that I have experienced in grand hotels. Literally the most perfect minibar and coffee making facilities I have ever seen, with a perfect selection of goodies and interesting drinks, as well as huge quantities of free tea, coffee, fresh milk and biscuits. “The location was good and suited us well. Good walks around the village but some not pet friendly because of wire or stiles. Very pet friendly at the hotel though. Room clean and comfortable with good minibar . Breakfast good, dinner ok a bit overpriced for the quality - suggestion , offer smaller portions. That is a minor niggle otherwise it was an enjoyable stopover and would be a good base to explore the local towns, canals, countryside which is beautiful.”
