Staff were great and really helpful at all times. Bar downstairs is very much a locals bar, but beer was well priced for St Andrews. Weather was cold and heating was nice and warm.

It was extremely good value for money. We paid just £50 for the room which was very clean, secure, warm and with en suite. The pub below was pretty basic and there wasn't food but we were only a short walk from the town where there are plenty of choices.
