I liked EVERYTHING, bar few furnishing, which is just a matter of different taste. The Nook is a little gem and I am sorry I have little time to be writing a proper review BUT, if I could afford it, I would stay at this place at least once a month!

Whilst small the Nook is a great place for couples. It’s well equipped and is furnished to a high standard. The bed is exceptionally comfortable and the environment very quiet. The bathroom has both a large bath and a walk-in rain shower. The owner and her staff are superb and any questions or problems were quickly dealt with. The property is ideally situated for exploring Stonehenge and the beautiful city of Salisbury. A hidden gem.

  • Is your property quiet over the bonfire weekend? We are looking for somewhere without fireworks to stay with our dog
    We don’t remember there being noise before, but we do know there are fireworks celebrations in the neighbouring village and in people’s gardens in the village. So I wouldn’t want to promise quiet if it isn’t. Sorry!

  • Is there a garden?
    There is a bank with planting outside of the doors to the annexe, which the sitting room looks out onto. There is also a landing at the top of the bank with 2 chairs and a table.

The Annex is a newly renovated flat within Henge Estate in the Wiltshire countryside, 6 mins drive from Stonehenge & 23 mins drive from Salisbury. It has 1 bedroom, an en-suite a sitting room and a kitchen. An ideal base for exploring Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset & Somerset as almost equidistant to Bath & Marlborough (north), Winchester (east), Southampton (south) & Shaftesbury (west). Many attractions 5-45 min drive away. Note that the garden and patio have not been created yet. Ample parking.
We are 40-something year old parents of three lovely rascals. We love family, friends, travel, cinema, books and country walks. While we don't live on site, we will be available on mobile at all times. We also have people who work on the estate who can assist if needed urgently.
Stonehenge is 6 mins drive, Salisbury is 23 mins drive, and there are many, many lovely walks and pubs within 5-45 mins drive. Car is probably the best form of transport, although there is a bus to Salisbury and surrounding areas from the end of the road. There are excellent walking routes around the area too.
