“Great location in the Quantocks with very friendly hosts that were both interesting and professional. The village and surrounding area is beautiful. The rooms have modern coffee machines and the breakfast was outstanding.”

“Really nice place in a lovely little village. We stayed in the Castle room at the front of the property which had big windows giving a pretty view of the stream & very quiet road. We parked on the street outside, it’s safe and like I said very quiet Breakfast was perfect, everything you expect, but better! Room was big, bed was comfy, plenty of storage & space. Clean, spotless, tidy, couldn’t fault it. Value for money definitely! We had a really nice stay & would 100% stay here again. Even if it’s just to give Jasper the dog a cuddle Our lady host was more than friendly & helpful. It was a pleasure to stay in your lovely, beautiful home!”

“Really tasty breakfast, I opted for the non vegetarian full English, with locally sourced ingredients, but there were Vegetarian and lighter options. My room was immaculate and had character. There was private on site parking available, which is a bonus, even though I didn't need to take advantage of it as I was visiting family.”

“Our room was the Castle Room and it was amazing, really luxurious and very clean- it even had a coffee maker! Breakfast was delicious, we are both vegetarians and were served homemade bread and veggie choices, different both days and much more interesting than the usual veggie fare. The Old Cider House is ideal for day trips into the Quantocks and we did a lot of walking. Our hosts were friendly and happy to give advice on walks and things to do. Jasper the dog was always ready for cuddles and a happy greeting!”

“There was a choice of breakfast which was good . As much as I like a full English having a less calorific choice was also good. Excellent breakfast and my puppy really enjoyed her sausage treat every morning.”
