I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum.
Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!

Worcester is a lovely place to visit the Hotel is situated right in the middle of all amenities. You are also opposite the train station that literally takes about 30 to 45 minutes to get in to Birmingham. Walks and eating establishments are the best choice lots to choose from .

A beautiful little city, not as touristy as York or Chester but along those lines. Getting off the train at Worcester Foregate Station (handy for day trips to Gloucester, Great Malvern and Hereford) and you're straight into the middle of town, loads of shops and restaurants, excellent museum, heavenly cathedral, Friar street, a lovely medieval road, includes the Tudor house museum. There is also a Royal Worcester pottery museum which is excellent....recommended. NOTE: A few Worcester attractions are closed Mon & Tue....need to check !!

This is a beautiful historic city which is well worth a visit for non-history buffs too. It offers shopping, sightseeing, plentiful "hospitality" venues, and its setting astride the River Severn offers countryside and walking too. What more could you ask for in a city break ?
Lovely hotel has really great potential once refurbishment is complete.
The patio area was very pleasant to sit outside in the scorching heat as was pretty, shaded and plenty of furniture.
Our room was very clean and well equipped .. hairdryer, shower gel, towels, trouser press, tv, free wifi ..
Excellent location for short walk to centre. We parked for 2 nights @£12 total ( Clare St .. hotel is less )
Will most definitely be back ..
Thank You Worcester for a great weekend .
Everything was perfect. The staff were brilliant, helpful, accommodating every request with a smile. The food was excellent, we had bar food, breakfast and dinner over the 2 nights we stayed and it was all delicious, beautifully presented and fault free. It is in a good location to visit Worcester, and beyond from. We felt it was great value for money and have stayed in more expensive hotels with far fewer good points. Definitely one to return to when next in the area.
Location to Worcester, comfortable hotel with lots of seating areas for relaxing. Spa was good, bice sized pool for swimming and comfortable loungers for chilling. Bedrooms, clean, everything you need including biscuits to go with your morning cup of tea. Breakfast was good.
Mustafa made our stay, he was the perfect host during our evening meal. Ensured we were well looked after and even gave us suggestions on places to visit in Worcester. Very nice gentleman.
I am a regular visitor, and already thinking about my next visit. Hotel is old building, full or character, right by the river, a few minutes walk away from Worcester Foregate Station and the city centre. The staff are friendly.
Got a vegetarian cooked breakfast with no problem.
Very reasonable price for beer and cider at the public bar , good selection of drinks.
This was a great find.stopped off here while travelling home from the north to the south of the country. This was a clean and lovely restful stop. Modern decorated with a lovely on suite in the crown hotel just next to the pub.did not hear the pub.well located in the heart of the lovely city of worcester.easy walking to the bars, cafes, restaurants and attractions.
Check in was great. Room was good and facilities inside were good. The beds were really comfortable and clean. The full English breakfast was lovely and hot and delicious. The only hiccup was that I didn’t realise you needed an exit token from reception to exit the car park. On the whole a very good stay at the Worcester Whitehouse Hotel.
I can thoroughly recommend The Shrubbery Guest House as an easy to find, comfortable, homely stay near to the centre of Worcester ; the lady who owns and runs it couldn't be a better hostess and the rooms are fine and clean and comfortable ; the superb breakfast will keep you going well into the rest of the day.
Lovely location next to the river and handy for exploring Worcester and surrounding areas. Traditional style hotel with that warm cosy feeling. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Staff are exceptionally helpful and present! Evening meal menu had a good selection and my meal was excellent.
Very friendly and helpful staff. It’s not The Ritz, but I did not expect it to be. We six elderly friends met at the hotel for a night out in Worcester. Location perfect. Comfortable night’s sleep in my family room. Breakfast fry up with coffee/tea and orange juice was great value at £6.00.
Location was lovely and convenient while being in a quiet area. All staff were lovely and very accommodating throughout our stay, including allowing us to check in early after a long haul flight. Our room was clean, comfortable and cozy.
The location and the facilities are really good. It’s a real hotel room plus and a great place from which to see Worcester. There is a fantastic garden on the first floor for an early evening drink before dinner.
What a fantastic hotel. Would definitely recommend for trip to Worcester. The staff were so pleasant and helpful and food was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked there and then for New Year's Eve
