The food here is excellent and Colin undersells what he provides and brings to the 'al la carte' menu and adds his humour to everything he does , the staff are friendly and you feel like your staying with old friends rather than at a hotel without being intrusive , everything is done 'just right' in line with experience Colin has set the bar to. They have lots of good tips on where to go and what to see and fantastic walks /activities in the area . Thanks to Colin and Sarah for hospitality and making us feel welcome and to all your staff for friendly approach and great service

IrelandOh my the seafood was wonderful. So good it was hard to choose what to have, the scallops were perfect. We had starters of scallops and baked crab Mains Colins seafood melody and the swordfish. Creme Brulee and crumble to finish. And not forgetting Colins wonderful freshly homemade bread, with his homemade garlic mayo. The staff were all really friendly and helpful.

The food was all home made and fresh seafood lovely Oysters and fish. Very generous portions for the price and great wine. Would recommend. The staff were friendly . The room was small but for the price and for the length we stayed which was for only one night it was good value.

The restaurant has been featured on national television three times with Colin/chef proprietor preparing seafood dishes. Please note - the rooms are small but comfortable, adequate and more importantly clean. The price reflects the size of the rooms. Continental breakfast is available or full English breakfast at additional cost. Locally sourced product.

We are centrally located. Perfect for visiting the Norfolk seaside, Wells next the sea is only ten minutes away, Sheringham and Cromer are twenty minutes away. We are also close to Holt, Burnham Market and other historical well known towns in North Norfolk. Most importantly we are two minutes from The Thursford Christmas Spectacular. We offer pre theatre meals for the show and always get you to the show on time. Norwich is a forty minute drive away and is a very beautiful historical town to visit with a beautiful cathedral. We are also very close to Pensthorpe Nature Reserve recently featured on BBC's Springwatch. Another fabulous place to visit.
