A fantastic base for visiting Ely, or just chilling out. From rooms at the back of the hotel there is a fantastic view across the fenland to Ely and the cathedral. This is a house that has been converted to a hotel and in consequence the rooms are more interesting. Grounds at the rear very pleasant for a stroll in the right weather. Superb dinner. Good breakfast.

Immaculately maintained house and grounds. Really comfortable rooms - all different in style and layout - with lovely views from the ones overlooking the garden and out towards Ely. Very well run, with attentive service. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Good wines, sensibly priced. Comfortable lounges to relax in. Everything was to the highest standard. Ours was a reunion of old friends. It was a perfect setting for that, and we had a hugely enjoyable stay. Thank you Old Hall.

We stayed at the Hotel to attend a family funeral. The property exceeded all expectations, the building, grounds, decor and attention to detail of fixtures and fittings were exquisite. The menu and quality of produce for both dinner and breakfast was exceptional. The staff were very professional yet warm and welcoming. We were kindly given an extension on our check out time and offered tea in the sitting room before we left for the funeral. The staff made a solemn occasion a pleasant stay, for which we are extremely grateful. We would most definitely return. Highly recommended.
