Really nice hotel, a 5 min drive out of main Tetbury. The food (dinner and breakfast) were both great in a lovely looking restaurant on site. Staff were all very nice, friendly and professional.
Bed was comfy and a nice bathroom with Molten Brown products.
Definitely recommended.
This 17th-century Manor House is in stunning grounds overlooking Stroud Water Canal and the hills of the Stroud Valley. It has an award-winning restaurant, and routes for cycling and walking.

Wonderful, stylish blend of old and modern furnishing and fixtures in the reception/bar area. Great drink menu available and a nice surprise to find the bar open soon after we arrived so a couple of drinks before we took the short walk to the restaurant we'd booked for our evening meal. Room was comfortable with lovely views out across the lawn to the canal and Cotswold hills beyond. Breakfast was lovely and filling, and varied, though having just come back from Amsterdam, it was missing some of the broader continental options I'd got used to.
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, this hotel boasts stunning views of the Cotswolds countryside. Just 3 miles from the town of Stroud, it has free Wi-Fi, free parking and a restaurant.
Set on the edge of a steep hillside overlooking the Golden Valley, Burleigh Court Hotel is a 18th-century Cotswold-stone manor house located in the heart of Royal Gloucestershire.

Nailsworth is a beautiful village in the Cotswolds- location is stunning. Unfortunately the hotel looks amazing from outside but is dirty and lacks ambiance. We have stayed there for many years but since a new company took over it has gone downhill.

As we had been travelling with quite a bit of luggage, we wanted a base to travel from. We had a car so we travelled north to some of the Cotswold villages like Stanton, Bourton on the Water and Buckley which was about an hour drive, with other villages on the way. The drive to Bath to the South was about the same length of time. If staying in a self contained apartment centrally, you can save money with the choice of a few supermarkets and takeaways within walking distance.
Also if staying in the centre of the village and you need to park on the street, a lot of the parking is timed between 8am and 6pm (free), which can make it difficult but there is a Free long stay park in the village. Road through the village can be quite busy. We didn’t explore the whole village as all we needed for our stay was within walking distance once settled.
Some of the restaurant choices were Italian, Chinese (very good value and all the dishes we had were great) and Indian.

Nailsworth is a very small, quaint town with some independent shops and a supermarket. We had a fabulous meal at Amalfi (Italian restaurant in the town) and would highly recommend this, excellent food and service (and I am super picky about restaurants)

Nailsworth is on of the most attractive small towns on the edge of the Cotswolds. It also has great cafes and good restaurants. Some of the best walks can be found within 5 miles. There is also a golf course on the common above with fantastic views. Cirencester is also a few miles away and is a beautiful town just to walk around (maybe a Cream Tea!). Cheltenham is also only 12 miles away with its splendid Regency Houses.

Nailsworth is very pretty town set in a lovely valley. It has lots of character and charm and was an ideal size to explore. It has a central location for visiting other villages in the southern Cotswolds.
There are many eating options.
We would not hesitate to recommend Nailsworth as a destination to spend at least 2 or 3 days in. We would also suggest the Egypt Mill Hotel as a place to stay.

Lovely location, although not what you think when looking for it. Once in the carpark we could see the beauty of the old building. Very atmospheric. Great wedding location.
The Lovely room we had on our 3nd visit. We ate in the restaurant. We don't know Nailsworth as we travelled down from Derbyshire on holiday so can't really comment on area. We would probably try to avoid toany steps.
Very responsive hosts, replying very quickly to questions we had.
Comfortable apartment which had everything we needed including a fan in bedroom which definitely helped us sleep during the heat wave while we stayed!
The location was great very close to town which had several cafes, restaurants, shops. We loved exploring the local area with our small dog.
Free use of the EV charger was very handy.
We had a relaxing stay, with fab weather, couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you
Elegant, spacious, peaceful Georgian rooms with unobtrusive but state of the art eco-technology throughout: well-equipped kitchens and bathrooms; a fantastic music centre and TV and even an outside EV charging point. Beautiful outside space for croquet, BBQ or just relaxing. Huge, comfy beds and plenty of storage space. In the very heart of Nailsworth, within easy, scenic walking distance of restaurants and shops. Mat and Carol were welcoming and very helpful hosts.
The restaurant was brialliant, was great to have such a nice bar, hotel and restaurant together. The night we were there, a wedding was on, our room was very close to main the event space and we could not hear a peep all night which was great. Our room was right on the edge of the stream and with the heavy rain previously the weather was water was flowing, once the windows was open this made the most amazing and relaxing sound.
Superb property, great location. Everything fully explained by the hosts - who couldn't be easier to deal with. Nailsworth is a beautiful small town with the world's greenest football team 'Forest Green Rovers' among it's residents. Everyone is lovely & the pace of life is ideal for a break away. All local business are big enough to cope & small enough to care. The bus service is surprisingly good too.
Good location for Cotswolds generally, and Nailsworth in particular.
My ‘flat’ was the Sorrel, one of 3 on first floor, accessed by 20 outside steps - those with difficulty walking, beware!
Amenities are good with fridge containing milk, orange juice, apple & orange etc - ingredients for breakfast, supplemented by cereals, teabags & coffee to perk.
In our travels through England, Scotland, and Ireland, this was our very favorite accommodation! The apartment was cozy and had so many thoughtful little touches. We even ate a very quick dinner so we could get back and enjoy the comforts of the apartment. Would 100 percent recommend this to anyone visiting Nailsworth.
Location was excellent, in a quiet courtyard on the edge of the town - although there was not a river view as advertised.
The apartments are very well equipped and are in the grounds of the old Railway Hotel - now all beautifully modernised.
Nailsworth is a charming town on the edge of the Coltswolds.
The house is very large and comfortable. The entire town of Nailsworth is a beautiful garden and your quintessential quaint British village. The home always had hot water and a washer and dryer! The home is just off one of the main streets so it was easy to walk to everything. We loved staying here!
A fabulous room! So comfortable and really big. There was everything you could need and a brilliant location in the centre of the charming village of Nailsworth. Lovely breakfast, with the nicest granola ever! We will definitely be staying again. Parking really easy.
Very clear and helpful instructions. The location is perfect, just round the corner of the heart of Nailsworth, so in easy walking distance to good restaurants and drives to the sights of Minchinhampton and Coaley Peak and Nympsfield. I will definitely be returning.
It's a lovely, quaint cottage, with all the required facilities. The second bedroom is quite small, and crammed with two beds, so the kids need to be able to get along. Master bedroom is fantastic. Would stay again if going to the area.
Mat was extremely helpful friendly and available. Kitchen good. Dining table just enough for ten adults. Our spotless abd comfy downstairs bedroom and shower excellent though the best of all, I think. Very short walk into Nailsworth.
Location was great as we were at a party in Nailsworth so within walking distance. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect poached eggs for breakfast, comfortable bed and lovely shower. Friendly host.
The rooms are spacious. The location is quiet and close to pubs, restaurants and shops. The furnishings were comfortable.
Lovely shared patio with chairs for evening drinks or morning coffee.
Great little studio to work from home and explore the area. Easy free parking, good wifi, lots of little shops and pubs walking distance. Good size space to cook and table for work.
Great location, walking distance to village. Lovely outside areas to enjoy a drink and great food. Very friendly staff. Looking forward to coming back.
