Knitsley, Consett, Knitsley, DH8 9EL, United Kingdom – Great location - show map
breakfast excellent. Open fire a great comfort on a cold night in keeping with the age of the hotel. Food excellent

The room was clean, tidy and warm. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The food was really good both evening meal and the breakfast. Very friendly pub and locals.

Fantastic and friendly place to stay, the place is located in a fantastic spot and the building has lots of character. The food was superb and the rooms very comfortable. A very relaxing stay, and will certainly book to stay again the next time I'm in the area working.

lovely setting and staff very helpful and friendley

Property in a lovely location, if u need peace and quiet and beautiful views this is the place😊

The location of where we were attending a wedding

Decor, and level of floor, of bedroom and eating area were querky due to age of builiding. Liked the quiet location of The Old Mill which went towards a restful stay. All food was tasty and good sized portions and all staff that we came across were helpful and friendly without being over the top, just the right level. A lovely spot for a short break.

Very friendly staff and beautiful room. We stayed in the Quail room which was large with two comfy chairs and a lovely comfy bed. The food was good and the setting was nice. I would recommend this hotel.

The staff were amazing and the room was perfect. Food was great aswell, far better than in the standard chain hotels
