Rectory manor is at the centre of a lovely traditional village. It is a beautiful building with great gardens. Our room and bathroom were very spacious. Tom, who looked after us, was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend a stay!

Katharina United Kingdom

The breakfast was 1st class, with local produce and a wide range of choice. It is communal, on a single refectory table with other guests. Unusual but pleasant & good for social interaction. The location was good for visiting Lavenham, but is a bit off the beaten track for first approach on narrow roads. The building is a long-term family home, and family is still deeply involved in the running, care and maintenance of the property and extensive grounds to keep it so. The whole ethos is that of a HOME, with mementos from 4 generations on every wall and surface, in which one feels privileged to be a guest. Drinks, so rarely these days, are on a help yourself, `sign & trust' basis. A wonderful touch!

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

      Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property, they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff is, and more.

      And finally, a review

      And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
