“Although access to the property is…interesting(!) ie through very narrow lanes, it is actually quite close to local amenities and only a short drive away from Ashford. So even though you feel like you are literally in the middle of nowhere, the location is actually really good, wether you want a quite hideaway or a base to explore. We used the accommodation as a base to go and watch The Open golf at Royal St George’s (in Sandwich, about 50 minutes away on the Kent coast). The accommodation itself was clean, very pleasant and very comfortable. We were greeted by the hosts who were extremely friendly and welcoming and even the fellow guests said hello; everything was so relaxed. We also received a breakfast pack as part of the stay, which included everything you need for a small continental style breakfast, which was a lovely surprise. There is also a games room, although we didn’t use it. If we are down that way again, we will definitely be staying here. Highly recommended.”
