As the property is located in the centre of Kelso there is a possibility of some street noise at the weekends. A gated entrance off Oven Wynd opens to the entrance hall which includes hanging space and rod racks which cater for rods up to 15’ in length. In the entrance hall is a spacious storage cupboard, a utility room with a washer/dryer . Stairs lead up to the first floor hallway, off which is the spacious Lounge, Bathroom, and leads to the fully equipped modern kitchen / dining area. A second staircase off the first floor hallway leads to the second floor hallway, off which are the two double bedrooms both en suite; A third staircase leads directly into third twin bedroom. Bedrooms one and three have their own T.V. Whether you are looking for a relaxing weekend, a family break or an activity based holiday the Old Seed Store can offer you unique, high quality accommodation bang in the centre of Kelso There is no private parking at the property. However there is free parking in the square for two hours 9 till 5 and free other times. There is also a free all day car park behind the building.
Kelso, with its cobbled streets, is arguably the most attractive Border town. Situated next to the Tweed the town is a Mecca for fishermen. Relax in the town and browse around the traditional and boutique shops. There are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants to enjoy. Attractions include the majestic Floors Castle and Kelso Racecourse. Springwood Park is the home of the Border Union Show and hosts many other events including dog shows, ram sales and fishing fair. All are within walking distance of our property.
