Nice little footage, fully equipped for daily living for 2 couples. Owner, Fiona, was very helpful and easily available when we needed help. Location is 10 minutes walk from a Co-op, very near to the Loch and very nice surroundings.

Great location, pleasant area close to Balloch waterside area. Great base to explore the Loch. On arrival, Fiona was there to greet us and show us around the property. Great to have two bedrooms with an en-suite each. Well specced up space, kitchen had all the mod cons needed for a family, inc. Dishwasher, washer dryer washing machine, microwave, gas hobs and electric oven. All extra little items were in the kitchen too, kettle, toaster, coffee machine for filtered coffee, even an electric can opener. Living room was a great space, tartan carpet a very nice touch, seating for 5 with blankets aplenty which were very happy using. TV with music and streaming services ready to go. Bedrooms were well sized, built in storage for clothes, and the enauite with electric showers and lighted vanity mirrors. All in all a fab location and a beautiful cottage space ro use while we visited Scotland.

The Old Smiddy was built in 1862 and used to be used as a Blacksmiths until the 1960's when it was converted into a house. Where the cottage is built there used to be a wooden building with a trap door where the cart wheels were fired up and thrown into the burn to cool down.
I have lived in Loch Lomond for 22 years and love the feel of being on the outskirts of village of Balloch
We are very central here in Balloch for walking within the beautiful Loch Lomond |National Park. Within walking distance is Loch Lomond Shores where you can sail, cycle, segway and do many water sports. Horseriding and fishing also. Bus stop at door if you come without a car can take you to Stirling, east side of Loch Lomond and Glasgow
