“Cleanliness was great, the bedding itself was good quality and very comfortable beds with a large wardrobe. The main living area was spacious enough and quaint, the bedroom very large. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but functional. Great comms from owners, hassle free check in.”

“The Old Stable is beautifully quaint, it's very relaxing atmosphere. It has all the amenities you need in the kitchenette. There are plenty of sockets too! It's a real home from home with an added charm that's roughly a 10-15 min walk from Heckington Village (Lovely pubs & you can't miss the Windmill) & everything else is a short drive away. Hosts are lovely friendly family and nothing is too much for them & we loved the fresh eggs, plus the basket of tea, biscuits & spreads.”

Joanna and James could not have been lovelier, yet left me to myself also which was perfect. The cottage is so beautifully decorated - the kitchen had everything you could need. Loved it all and will do my best to return when I can for a lovely quiet break.”

“A wonderfully charming high spec property and location. Somewhere in which we really relaxed and were able to spend some quality time as a family. A great base for adventures into Lincolnshire and the nearby Heckington has good pubs, shops, an outdoor pool and a working windmill in walking distance! Further afield, Belton House, Woodhall Spa, Tattershall Lakes / Castle, RAF museums and the outdoor pools at Metheringham and Billinghay are all worth a visit. Hosts are welcoming, friendly and care that you enjoy your stay.”
