Great location the breakfast was hot plentiful and well cooked. The staff were friendly and approachable all-in all a very pleasant stay.

United KingdomFor the price this is an excellent place to stay. The staff could not be nicer, simply delightful. We ate both dinner and breakfast here and both were excellent. We also had a great night's sleep, the bed was so comfortable. It was fun to get a taste of scotch upon arrival. They also stored our luggage for 3/4 of a day while we were exploring. If you take the bus from the airport, it is only a 3 block walk from the bus terminal, and is easy.

Loved the handsome old building, the tartan trims, the young reception staff – eager, helpful and genuine. They served a very nice breakfast in their cafe-lobby. They greet arrivals with a dram of Scotch and a shortbread cookie. What's not to like?! They seem to be known for traditional Scottish dinners, but no dinner Sunday night, so we found a sweet little Asian place nearby, Puti Vegan Cafe, on Cambridge St., with very agreeable server and atmosphere. The hotel was an easy walk with our bags to Buchanan bus station, right where we needed to be. Very central yet unique, excellent price. Altogether a delightful place.

With a central Glasgow location, The Pipers’ Tryst Hotel is a unique 4-star restaurant with rooms located at The National Piping Center - the home of Scottish Bagpiping. Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout and as a registered charity, all profits go back into teaching the bagpipes within Scotland and locations worldwide.
The Pipers’ Tryst offers bedrooms decorated in a Scottish theme, and feature private bathrooms with a bath and double-headed rainfall shower. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, a desk and tea/coffee making facilities.
A full Scottish breakfast is included in the room rate with a choice of tea/coffee, fruit juice, a continental buffet and full cooked options.
The award-winning restaurant offers an à la carte menu based around ‘farm assured’ produce. The menus change through the seasons and offer fresh local Scottish produce. We feature a selection of hand-selected wines, craft-brewed Scottish beers and cider and bespoke gins from all over Scotland.
The attractions of Glasgow city center are 5 minutes’ walk away. Glasgow School of Art and the RCS are on the doorstep, along with The Theater Royal, Glasgow Film Theater and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
