Very pleasant staff and a fantastic location right by the Britannia Pier. The room was quite small, but very well kept and nicely decorated. It was no problem to leave the bags behind the reception after we checked out but still had more for sight seeing before the train home.

Me and my husband stayed this weekend at the Prince guest house and it was great. The room was lovely it had everything we needed. The food was lovely and the people made us feel so welcome and they helped us with everything we needed. The hotels is in a great location near everything. We will be definitely staying there again.

The Guest House staff are all very pleasant, and the accommodation all super clean. Cleo always greeted us with a smile on the morning when we arrived for breakfast and was always happy to attend to your needs and make sure everything is ok for you. The breakfast has great choices and is cooked to perfection. There was ample tea and coffee making items and the provided toiletries fragrance was lovely. We stayed in room 11.. the bed was comfort at its finest and we loved the little seating area in front of the window. We didn't have a drink in the bar however we did notice how well stocked the bar is. There is lots of seating area in the lounge and also plenty of books, and some games.

Excellent Guest House with very welcoming owners. Many of the guests are frequent visitors and I can understand why. Just a short stroll to Promenade and very central for the whole of Great Yarmouth. Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of choice, rooms are clean bright and well equipped. Perfect choice for our stay.

  • How much is the parking and how far from your accommodation 🙂

    We have either 24hr Permits for the road we are on or we have some spaces in the small carpark directly opposite us to use. ( All parking is chargeable as we are located so close to the seafront but please enquire direct for current prices )

    Hi .. We have a carpark opposite us where you can park motorbikes, it is open but has a barrier across the gate.

  • We have seen this room which caters for 2 adults and 2 children (double bed and bunk bed) we would like to consider booking it but before we do we was wondering if it is possible to bring a travel cot to the room as I have a 2 year Old who needs that so would be 5 of us in total? Many thanks

Owners Nicky and Mark moved from Hertfordshire to Great Yarmouth when they bought The Prince in September 2014 and immediately began to refurbish the property. The first phase of refurbishment included the Entrance Lobby, Dining Room, Bar area, Lounge and modern Toilet Facilities on the ground level. Work then began on the second phase the Bedrooms on the top floor, each room was stripped back to floor boards, double glazed and re-fitted with new en-suites, new décor, and beds. The End of 2016 early 2017 saw the beginning of the third phase of refurbishing Bedrooms on the first floor and also saw the refurbishment of the Downstairs Basement bar which is also available for private functions. This has been a labor of love for Nicky and Mark and they hope you enjoy the new modern facilities they offer at The Prince along with a friendly welcome and chat in The Bar.

The Prince is a Family run Guesthouse where you will always get a warm welcome from the owners Nicky and Mark, The Head Housekeeper / Waitress Cheryl ( Daughter ), other members of their family and the Chef Scott who all live on site.

The Prince is ideally situated with just a minute walk to the beach. amusements and the famous Britannia Pier. We are also just a stroll away from the town center with its shop and market.
