On the edge of Bowland Forest, The Priory bed and breakfast offers a cozy accommodations in the center of Scorton. Free WiFi is available, and the M6 motorway is 15 minutes’ drive away.

With light decor and crisp, wooden furnishings, each room includes a modern, private bathroom with free toiletries. Rooms feature a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a hairdryer.

Our café is open daily from 10am until 4pm serving hearty breakfasts, lunches and delicious cakes; using fresh and local ingredients in all our homemade dishes. We do not serve evening meals however we can provide a preordered plowman's platter or drinks for your room if you do not wish to dine out. The café has a welcoming cozy log fire and a pretty, outdoor dining area.

The surrounding area is full of scenic walking and cycling routes. The Priory caters for walkers and cyclers with secure cycle storage and a clothes drying room. Free parking is available, and Lancaster is a 20-minute drive away.

    There are quite a few places to eat and drink within a 1-3 mile radius. Garstang is the nearest town with many places to choose from.

    All are different sizes. The luxury is the largest. approx 6mby10m. The others 5m by 6m and 5m by 7m plus shower rooms.

We are a small bespoke bed and breakfast offering the additional service of a daytime cafe open daily 10am until 4pm serving coffees, ice cream lunches and snacks. We do not serve food in the evening. We provide clean comfortable quiet and relaxing accommodation in a picture perfect village centre location with local pubs and restaurants a five minute drive away in the market town of Garstang. (approx 2-3 miles away). We are perfect for those wanting a country retreat for walking or just relaxing.

The Priory dates back to 1650 being originally a Priory and has a huge depth of history.The Collinson family have owned The Priory since 1968 and we have sympathetically developed the business to suit the location and its history. The next generation now run the Business Julie and Gary Lee. Julie is a keen horse rider and Gary a keen cyclist. They have recently purchased some stables for guests who wish to bring their horse on holiday! They know the area well for walking, cycling or horse riding routes or even just a drive in the car!

The village of Scorton is a day trip destination for cafes and garden centres. It is known as The Gateway to the Forest of Bowland - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and a site of European significance for bird watching. 20 minutes to Lancaster 15 minutes to Lancaster University 30 minutes to Preston 40 minutes to Blackpool 1 hour to Manchester, Liverpool, Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
