Everything! The property is beautiful. The room was exceptionally comfortable. This stuff made us feel like family. The food was amazing. We will go back again!

The overall welcome by the staff was consistently very friendly. The selections for breakfast are excellent and The evening meal was a high quality. The stairs make it difficult to carry a suitcase but the staff offered voluntarily to help with that.

The manager made us feel extremely welcome from the get go and even upgraded our room too! Our room was a cute cathedral ceiling room with an excellent bathroom. Overall the Inn is located in a small village in the middle of nowhere. However they make up for it with excellent public areas inside and out. Of special note are the multiple outdoor sitting and eating areas that were quite wonderful to hang out in. Breakfast was great.

The Red Lion is a heritage-listed, stone-built carriage inn dating from 1748, located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and well situated for access to Stratford Upon Avon, Warwick, Oxford and The Cotswolds.

As you step into The Red Lion you will be charmed by the original character and the relaxed atmosphere. There is a pretty grounds and bedrooms with private bathrooms.

The Red Lion offers a creative seasonal menu, which changes regularly and has an AA Red Rosette. Much more than pub food, it has a creative brasserie style and serves locally sourced, fresh food.

  • Hi does the single room have suitable access for " walking disabled?
    It is up 2 flights of stairs and unfortunately we do not have any lifts, I would probably say not. Kind Regards Jonathan
