“Carpet was wet outside the bathroom in our room. Room would have benefitted from being vacuumed before our arrival and there were lots of cobwebs around the bed head. As we were only staying one night we decided to use hotels supply of toiletries provided. The toiletries provided were not great and didn't smell great. I would bring my own next time.”

“Room was large enough and clean. Breakfast was exceptional i.e served to order (not from a counter with food cooked 2 hours before) and very hot (including the plate), and an excellent selection. Staff very friendly and helpful too. Breakfast room also very clean and newly revamped.”

“I had a problem with the first room and they moved us on the second night. They were very accomodating. The whole look of the hotel is clean and modern, lovely decor throughout the place. The staff were very efficient in all areas. I would definitely stay again.”

“We got upgraded to a room with a four poster bed. The room had a bath/shower that was a whirlpool bath and a t.v. Great choice of breakfast from cereal to full English service was very prompt. The hotel has a modern lounge bar area with very spacious and light. Not far from the harbour a shirt five minute walk away, past some lovely old pubs, then over the river to the old town and up to the Abby. The staff were keeping the Hotel spotlessly clean.”
