“The location was excellent - right in the centre of Bath. Lovely clean room, loved the fridge with fresh milk! The owner was very knowledgeable and couldn't do enough to help us. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. We had the continental (included in the room rate) on one of the mornings and had the cooked option (at an additional cost) on the second morning. We loved the freshly baked croissants! We didn't eat in the restaurant but as we were checking in, they were serving the most delicious Roast Dinners! We will definitely be trying these on our next visit!”

“The hotel was well located whilst being very reasonably priced. The rooms were large and spacious but could do with a little more decor. The continental breakfast included was amazing, plenty of choice available. The staff were professional but could have been slightly friendlier.”

“Located less than 3 minutes walk from Bath Abbey, the Rising Sun Inn is located in a quiet street away from the tourist hustle and bustle. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hosts Lorraine and Norman provide exceptional customer service - attentive but not obtrusive. The Inn is dog-friendly with a lovely garden and the restaurant has great food with vegetarian needs well-catered for. It is possibly one of the best inns I have ever stayed at and even if you decide not to stay there, do yourself a favour and go for the Sunday roast - sumptuous and delicious!!!”

“Very close to the city centre, the owners and their dog Millie are incredibly nice, welcoming and very accomodating. The included continental breakfast is very thoughtful, offering many choices of cereal, breads and spreads, fruit, yoghurt, juice and hot drinks. You also have the choice to order a different breakfast if you like.”
