Decent freshly prepared full English breakfast, orange juice and cafetier coffee. Typical village pub packed with timber panelling, beam ceilings, traditional bar games and selling draught beers and wine at reasonable prices. A quiet night's sleep despite being above a busy pub. The Mediterranean themed dinner menu was a welcome and unexpected surprise. This is no bland contemporary hotel. It carries all the characteristics of a typical local village pub. Worn carpets in some areas, wonky stairs and bathroom facilities that have been squeezed into an old building. All that is to be expected and is part of the charm that appeals.

We had an amazing time. There was an Open Mic night which resulted in the pub being packed. It was great fun. Everyone staff and regulars were friendly.. We are definately coming again soon.
