“Great setting and facilities, the room was spacious and spotless with everything you need. Lovely gardens and the whole building was kept brilliantly. The best breakfast I’ve ever had, I’m 55 so that’s a lot of breakfasts to compare to. ”

“The staff were wonderful not least because we broke down en route and had to miss dinner. They put delicious plates of food in our room which greeted us on our arrival. Dinner in the restaurant the next evening was delicious and they even serve local, Devon wine. Also, the hotel is dog-friendly. There was a goodie bag for our dog on arrival! After booking I discovered that I had mistakenly booked the only room in the hotel where we couldn’t take our dog. The hotel called round the other guests and found someone who was willing to swap rooms. ”
