I liked the apartments and the location, but it is a bit of walk to get to the bars and restaurants. I liked the times you could go for breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the rooms smelled nice. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, but we did not receive everything stated on the welcome pack.

It was a great location with transport easily accessible and had a secure car park for our own car. The apartment was clean and had a great view. The shops/restaurants downstairs were great, they had a good selection and friendly staff. One of our party was disabled and they found it easy to travel around both the accommodation and the surrounding area.

Given this property was to the rear, I was expecting the view to be of the car park. Thankfully, when you sit down and look out, you can just see the trees as the apartment was on the third floor. I thought the apartment was nicely designed with pleasing interior lighting. It was well equipped and nice added bonus was the beach hut right on the seafront. This more than made up for the lack of seaview from the apartment.

    Most of our apartments are spacious and can fit a wheelchair/mobility scooter into the apartment. We do have disabled, larger bays and end bays which we can put a request on your booking for. Our friendly receptionists will help you with your luggage from the car into the apartment.

We love the beach and our local area. Any events that are on at the Open Air Theatre, Spa or SJT we try to get to - we are all very excited for the new waterpark which will be opening close by in July 2016.

Just 40 yards away is the golden sandy beach of North Bay, Nearby the stunning music venue and historic surroundings of the Spa. The world famous Harbour Bar with its award-winning ice cream is a 10 minute walk. Sea front amusement parks, delicious fish and chip restaurants, the Futurist theatre and Rotunda museum, as well as contemporary cafes and bars, are all a short walk from Harbourside. Also nearby are the North Bay Railway, the Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round (home theatre to Sir Alan Ayckbourn), the Sea Life Centre and Seal Sanctuary, Scarborough Castle, Peasholme Park and the spectacular 6000 seat Open Air Theatre, opened by HRH The Queen in 2010. New to 2016 is a brand new multi-million pound waterpark to Scarborough. Alpamare Waterpark will be one of the biggest in Europe with state of the art slides, wave pools and infinity pools it really is an attraction not to be missed.
