“Oh, this was such a lovely stay. I went for business, but the evening before work was pure pleasure. The food is very good - and John deserves a medal for dealing with staff shortages due to Covid. The service remained absolutely fine. I had a burger, my wife a Lamb Shank - both excellent. We ate outside, but the inside rooms also looked very comfortable. We were in the Coach House - a lovely room full of interesting beams. Also, don't be put off by the name. It's actually "The Scole Inn" a 400 year old establishment with Dutch architecture, with the Coach House going back 200 years. We will certainly return. The town of Diss is also a lovely market town, and well worth a visit.”
