United KingdomStayed for one night during some of the COVID restrictions, where we were very well cared for. The Ship is a great place to stay, whilst also being in a good location. It also does a fantastic breakfast.

United KingdomParking is out front if you can get a space, we were lucky it wasn't too busy so got a space no bother. Shown to our room by a very helpful member of staff and given details of breakfast. She also advised us of the restaurant for evening meals, we had our meal and was not disappointed. Room was fine, a bit old fashioned looking but spotless, the bathroom was more modern and again spotless. Excellent value for money in the restaurant for meals which were delicious and plentiful, drink prices were very good as well, you were not overcharged having a drink with your meal. All in all an excellent 2 day stay and would definitley recommend a break here.

Overlooking Stonehaven harbour, The Ship Inn was built in 1771 and offers modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and rooms with flat-screen TVs.
En suite bathrooms with heated mirrors are featured in each room at The Ship Inn, as well as tea & coffee making facilities.
Locally caught seafood, and steaks from a local Aberdeen butcher are served in the on-site restaurant which offers a variety of cuisine. A selection of real ales and draught beers are served in the lounge bar, as well as more than 100 different malt whiskies.
Stonehaven is home to a picturesque harbour, open-air heated swimming pool and a scenic golf course, whilst also being just a 30-minute drive to Aberdeen city centre. The entrance to Cairngorms National Park is is under an hour’s drive away and offers a wide array of sporting activities.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.7 for a two-person trip.
