Right on the High Street, means The Snug is the perfect location close to all amenities whilst giving you privacy to get away from it all should you want to. Deceptively small, but full of character with things that we want ourselves when going away, the one thing that people always say on check-in is 'ohhh it's bigger than it looks in the photos'. The Snug has been carefully set up so that you shouldn't need anything. With superfast Wifi it is also the perfect workcation set up as well if you need to stay connected to the office whilst trying to take some holiday. Lots of storage space, a well kitted out kitchen so you can cook at home should you want to, a separate shower room that also houses a washing machine, all your bedding, towels and cloths included, you really should feel relaxed when staying at The Snug. To get you started, we leave locally roasted coffee, beautiful Speyside tea, yummy Tunnocks treats and the basics of milk, water, herbal tea, sugar, oil, condiments, loo roll, washing tabs, hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are all supplied. Still self-catering, but you're able to just turn up and go shopping after a good nights sleep.

I've lived in Grantown on Spey for 20 years and am passionate about what a great area we live and work in. Always happy to help you plan a day trip or give suggestions on where to eat locally. We live next door to The Snug so can be as on hand as you need, whilst giving you your privacy. It's not uncommon to not see each other for a whole week, but it's also good to know your host is there on the phone or at the door should you need assistance. I'm a clean freak. Having stayed all round the UK and the world over the years, my biggest disappointment is unclean accommodation, so you won't find anything unsavoury in The Snug. With additional pandemic measures in place, you can feel safe in the knowledge that you are staying in a clean and comfortable space. Do ask me about her breakfast platters, and cheese & charcuterie boards available to pre-order, filled with local and/or Scottish produce. Grantown on Spey is a small Highland town with a great community and is fairly central to many walks, golfing, fishing, outdoor sports or just a wander down our unique and bustling High Street - a great place to live and to go on holiday. Please be aware that The Snug is on the main High Street and brings with its location a level of traffic noise, although this doesn't continue during the night.
