WE will have stayed 3 times in the space of 2 months.Have stopped for 3 day stays in the balcony rooms loved it and keep going back for more.We have stopped in many dearer hotels in Folkestone but liked the Southcliffe the best.

The room was a nice size with plenty of storage room for your clothes . The view was great from our balcony. The staff could not have been more helpfull .The free wifi was good. Had a three day stay, and have booked again. The hotel was spotless.The breakfast was excellent.

This is not a 'boutique' hotel - decor is a little faded, but price more than reflects this. Perfect as a base - clean, comfortable, central and welcoming. Would love to stay here again!

Overlooking the English Channel, The Southcliff Hotel is located on The Leas Promenade and only a 1-minute walk from the Leas Cliff Hall venue. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the Channel Tunnel Terminal and offers free high-speed Wi-Fi in all bedrooms and public areas, a stylish bar and wonderful views.

    No, our balcony rooms are sold specifically as balcony rooms. All of balcony rooms have sea views. If you book a sea view room, we can, at a cost, upgrade you if we have availability.

  • Is it easy to park

    Parking is mainly on street within some of the resident bays. Need to be paid on arrival at reception. £2 from midday to Midday. There is also a couple of pay & display carparks close to the hotel.

    Some of our double seaview rooms can be converted into twin rooms. On booking a seaview room enter in your request that you wish the room to be made into a twin bedded room.

  • are you opening from the 12th April?

    The hotel will be open to the public at large from the 17/5/21 as per government regulation until then the hotel will only welcome guests whose travels are considered essential. We will be serving drinks outside from the 12/4/21 from our reception.
