Staff are very helpful and friendly. The food in the pub downstairs is amazing. I have stayed here twice now while travelling for work and I will defo be back.
United KingdomA lovely spacious and comfortable room and en suite above a quintessential English pub . Charming friendly and relaxed. We had breakfast and dinner in the pub . All delicious . Wood burning stove , children and dog friendly . Perfect !

Flowers and decoration made it feel comfortable and not hotel-like. We ate in both the pub and cafe. Good quality food, ale and friendly staff and locals. Perfectly positioned to explore Derbyshire. Recommended all round. Thanks for an excellent stay.

United KingdomOverall we were very happy with the facilities in the room. We would prefer to have mugs to drink out of rather than cup and saucer but this is just personal preference. We were pleased with the amount of milk supplied and had anticipated that there would only be enough cereal for the first morning, we stayed 3 nights.

The community saved the historic Spotted Cow pub from the prospect of demolition in 2017 and have re-opened it as a Community hub. We are thrilled to to welcome you to our guest accomodation. A warm welcome awaits at this beautifully restored historic Community-owned Pub/Restaurant & Cafe in the Derbyshire village of Holbrook. The spacious room has been refurbished to a high standard and contains a Double bed and an en-suite bathroom. There's also a separate ante-room containing hanging space, Fridge, Tea & Coffee making facilities & Cereal bowls, with complimentary cereal. You'll have your own private entrance and the room has lovely views over the Amber Valley.
