Lovely en-suite facilities, nice fluffy towels. Free continental breakfast which was a nice touch. Tea and coffee making facilities in our room was another bonus. We had a wonderful night sleep, it was so comfortable I could have slept forever.

Property info

A traditional country inn located in the historical village of Islip (birthplace of Edward the confessor), just outside Oxford. The civil parish is on the River Ray, just above its confluence with the River Cherwell in Oxfordshire, England. It is about 2 miles (3 km) east of Kidlington and about 5 miles (8 km) north of Oxford. The Train Station Chiltern Railways is a 7min walk from The Swan Inn (0.3m) and there is a Bus service called Charlton Services which you can catch the bus 94 into Oxford. there more information on the buses and trains on their web sites. Our location provides quick and easy access to nearby Kidlington with its airport, Oxford, Bicester and the shopping village and the M40 is less than 5 minutes by car. When arriving at The Swan Inn there is a car park opposite which is free to use for guests.
