Location, close to York and many walks, very comfortable accommodation, well decorated and equipped. Beautiful gardens to sit in for breakfast/dinner. Peaceful with good safe/undercover parking.
United KingdomOur expectations in relation to our stay were greatly exceeded. From check in to check out, we couldn't have asked for more. The accommodation is beautiful, the host was welcoming and left milk, fruit juice, choclates and fresh flowers. The location is amazing. Can't wait to stay again Kate. Thank you.
United KingdomBreakfast wasn't included but the host left milk and orange juice. There were fresh flowers, chocolates and a bottle of wine.
United KingdomEverything, the property was excellently furnished. Lots of little touches that made the stay an excellent one. Hosts were very pleasant and there was nothing that we needed but I am sure if we did it would have been catered for.
United KingdomEverything , little choc sweets everywhere , fresh flowers and bottle of wine in the fridge , excellent hosts total luxury peace and quiet
United KingdomVery friendly hosts, great location and very comfortable accommodation. Highly recommended. Superb 👍👍
United Kingdomquirky location and hosts suited us down to the ground
United KingdomSet in a beautiful countryside location, this farm house, offering self catering accommodation, more than met our expectations. The hosts were caring and helpful. Ever ready to offer assistance during an illness. The self contained unit is of great proportions equipped with all the modern amenities but tastefully designed. Ideally located within a short distance from Harrogate town Centre for exploring the picturesque Yorkshire Dales. This place is one of the best we have stayed in our travels in UK. Highly recommended.
United KingdomLovely rural location with sitting out space front and rear, so we could breakfast/eat outside. Away from main roads but convenient for road network around Harrogate and close to Harlow Carr. Very well and thoughtfully furnished and equipped. Lots of character. Host was friendly and welcoming. Parking in a covered barn a few steps from the property.
United KingdomEverything!! So beautiful so many lovely touches, fresh flowers, milk and orange in the fridge, the decor is gorgeous, Kate was so lovely. The location is fab peaceful and scenery is stunning.

A Georgian barn in the middle of fields, 2.5 miles from the town of Harrogate. Peaceful and colourful. Listen to the curlews, owls, sheep pheasants and lambs. Watch the kites fly above and spot the deer who comes by! Unique mezanine floor, woody and restful. Home from home, a place to relax and unwind from daily work and stresses. Large, open space with everything you require for your stay inside. Owner/host nearby to help you settle in. Courtyard views over fields and open countryside. Village pub across the field, with outside garden area and 20 minute walk to Harlow Carr Gardens and Bettys tea rooms. Seating areas all around the annex, with far flung views from each of them. Plenty footpaths close by and countryside walks.
My husband is an Engineering Officer in the Merchant Navy and I am a Special Needs teacher. We are here to help with directions and suggestions of comfortable places to visit, eat and to drink. We provide amenities and comforts as we would like to receive ourselves, while staying away from home. Please do ask if there is anything extra you require. We try to solve everything. Our aim is for our guests to relax and unwind in a peaceful, countryside location, within close proximity to town.
Just outside the village of Beckwithshaw, close to three pubs, tranquil walks and ten minute drive from the centre of Harrogate. We are close to Harlow Carr Gardens, which has a Bettys tea room. Both pubs/restaurants nearby have outdoor garden areas for drinks/eats. Our village is small, but friendly. There is no bus route on our doorstep. The nearest one is a 20 minute walk away, however plenty taxis nearby if you do not want to drive.
