“The rooms were really clean, comfy and had everything we needed. But the staff were EXCEPTIONAL. They went above and beyond from giving late night lifts, hot water bottles, ordering off the menu: nothing was too icy trouble. Food was great, packed lunch for the next day was great - food quality bread and meat, lashings of mustard. Can’t recommend it highly enough ”

“I liked everything, from the warm welcome, to the comfortable room - with a bath, which was perfect after walking from Chollerton! The pub was open, the beer was first-class, and the food very good. The service was excellent - the right mix of friendliness and warmth. Breakfast was filling and plentiful - and a packed lunch to boot. Finally, I accidentally left my water bottles. They were sorted without any to-do. Highly recommended.”
