Explore Cheddar, home to the largest gorge in the UK with 450ft cliffs, an enormous underground cave system, fabulous views around the Mendips AONB, extensive wildlife reserves, a resting place to the oldest complete skeleton in the world, and centre to some of the best walking, cycling, and outdoor adventures in the southwest. Our comfortable self-catered apartment in the heart of Cheddar – is spacious and relaxing for a couple and can sleep up to 4. The apartment is on the first floor, with no private outdoor spaces. Unrestricted street parking is only 40 meters away, details are given in pre-check-in communication. Secure bike & equipment storage on request. The apartment is equipped with a well-considered kitchen with a microwave oven, stove and many of the kitchen basics. Guests are supplied with bedding and many of the bathroom and living essentials, Towels are not provided. On-street parking is available nearby and you can pull up right outside to unload if you arrive by car. The interior is carefully thought through to accommodate couples, families, or friends travelling together. The apartment consists of a double master bed room, bunk room, & double sofa bed in the living room. Please see our floor plan in the images.

Visit the Discover Cheddar website to find out what makes Cheddar the Outdoor Capital of the South West and find lots of recommendations for exploring our beautiful village and beyond. You'll be hungry after you've walked, cycled and explored the awe-inspiring Gorge and with a wide range of fantastic places to eat within easy walking distance of the Velo Loft, you'll be spoilt for choice. If you fancy a night in, our local butcher, delis, roadside produce stalls, market gardens and wealth of gift shops will provide everything you need from afternoon tea to after-dinner wine (or cider) and, of course, cheese! For convenience there are two small supermarkets in the village and a locally-run homewares and bulk discount store right across the road for everything else. Don't forget that many other beauties lie just beyond the village...Axbridge, Wells, Glastonbury, and more. All are accessible by bus, or e-bike.
