“This is ideally suited for catching the ferry to the Orkneys being very close to the ferry terminal. The hotel had the feel that it may once have been a high quality place perhaps for business meetings. It looked maybe a little dated now but is still a great hotel. Our room was very large with an exceptionally large bed, which was very comfortable. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The WIFI was super fast and there were plenty of car parking places. There was even a lift! All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and kept us full for the rest of the day.”

“Although the property looks dated we had two rooms with a sea view which were very spacious despite the dated decor it was very clean & comfortable. Location is great for a base to explore the area. The Pub & Restaurant was nice busy and food great especially the Fish & Chips! All the staff were great friendly and helpful wonderful customer service. Breakfast served till 12pm was great if you don’t have an early start and want a lie in! ”
