The Welford was a fantastic place to stay. Great location, close to the beautiful parks in Harrogate, and plenty of restaurant and shopping options nearby. The hosts were amazing, and incredibly kind and helpful. Very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a treat with fresh fruit, cereal, and a lovely cooked breakfast menu. The home-made sausages were outstanding, as were the rest of the cooked breakfast options. In all, we would love to come back, and highly recommend the Welford.

Judy and Richard were very hospitable. Seamless check in/out. Great Breakfast with plenty of choice. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the location perfect. A nice little garden area provided at the front of the property with a table and chairs. Walking distance from all the local shops and restaurants and would suit both leisure and business travelers alike as the conference center is also very close.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Welford Guest House. Our room was just so lovely and comfortable with the best bed, a good hot shower and little extras included.  The guest house is in such a good location for exploring within easy walking distance to the centre and great restaurants, tea rooms and pubs. Breakfast was an amazing meal, with a wide range of personalised choices freshly cooked with the best sausages you will ever taste .. a great start to our day. Thank you Judy and Richard it was an absolute pleasure staying in your guest house ...... and we will return.

    We have a room with a King Sized bed or a different room with a Super King sized bed ( 2 single beds zipped together) hope this answers your questions Always ring us direct for best rates and any queries

  • How far is it to shopping centre. Also do you have a lift to the double rooms. John

    5 minutes walk to the town centre, we are a Victorian Terraced house unfortunately we do not have lifts and we are probably not the best for guests with mobility issues Please ring if you have any worries Thank you Judy

We take a great pride in our home and welcome all Guests Old and New We are a Victorian Terrace Home with rooms situated on the 1st floor and 2nd floor so there are stairs to climb!!! We cater for vegetarians, Vegans and Gluten Free just let us know when you book We love meeting people from all walks of life, so weather you are visiting friends, family, going to a wedding, celebrating a special occasion, Visiting all our amazing attractions, cycling, walking, visiting the Conference Centre or a show we will do our upmost to help you in anyway we can to make your visit a memorable one A few things that we don’t have though is:- No Lift or 24 hour Reception We also have cobwebs from time to time, we do try to keep them at bay, but the little pests keep coming out at night when we sleep Judy doesn’t do Spiders at all, so if you do happen to come across one please dispose of it/them Please always give us a ring prior to making a reservation if you have any queries at all we are always happy to advise Last but not least, please try to book either by our website or phone as booking.com etc charge us a commission for every booking .
