Faversham, is steeped in historic buildings. Some areas are pedestrianised. On Saturday there is a wonderful local market. It is an easy, interesting town to walk round and we printed of the town walk before we went which was interesting to wander round. Plenty of parking in the town, both short and long stay at reasonable rate. Most seem to use the Ringo app. The Sheppard Neame Brewery visitor centre and brewery are in the heart of the town and worth a visit. (book tour). The is also a gunpowder trail walk that you can download and follow (the gunpowder mills played a significant part in the towns history). Well worth walking down to the Quay where there are further retailers (small artisan type) and toilets/refreshments.

Faversham is a lovely town with an interesting history and amazing different architecture. Lots of little shops and cafes and charter markets. St Marys Church has 14th century wall paintings on a pillar.
Excellent eateries too - they are popular so be sure to book an evening meal!

Lovely town, loved the old buildings and that fact it was easy to walk around. The Albion Tavern by the water was excellent as was the Spice Lounge Indian restaurant in the town. Convenient for local trips to Canterbury and Whitstable Beach.

Faversham is a very pretty historical town.
Faversham is a very pretty historical town. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants and it is wthin easy reach of the Kent coast by bus, train or car. Most pubs and restaurants are dog friendly and on the people are very friendly. Eating out varies from pub grub to one expensive but recommended restaurant The Phoenix. Prices suit all purses.

Faversham is a fascinating town, full of history and lovely buildings. Some excellent eating places including George's Turkish restaurant and Posillipo, an Italian restaurant by the creek. Well worth a visit.

Love Faversham, but unfortunately I came home having got bedbug bites, so not very happy as you could imagine, also they never contacted us regards no breakfast, so we had to eat breakfast on Weatherspoons.
Great location, ample parking, friendly, welcoming and hospitable staff. Fantastic food (we had an evening meal there on the first evening which was absolutely excellent) and breakfast was great too. The hotel is located in a small village with a high street of a few amenities, including a bus service to Canterbury, and is located between Canterbury and Faversham.
Our Room (Room 7) was lovely, cosy and comfortable. The White Company toiletries and the homemade shortbread were a lovely touch. All in all, a great stay and would happily return!
I stayed at CreekSide B & B for 9 nights, during which I was made extremely welcome by Sharon, whose attention to detail and kindness far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this B & B to anybody wishing to visit Kent as apart from having an amazing host, the location is beautiful, and a short walk into the middle of Faversham. I will definitely be returning to CreekSide when the opportunity arises.
A well-run, clean, comfortable, friendly hotel in a lovely setting, It has beautiful views across open countryside from the grounds. We stayed in room 14 in a side annexe with its own front door which opened onto the car park, like a motel. It was very nicely furnished and had several charging points for phones. Plenty of parking space. The breakfast was excellent, with lots to choose from.
I was very impressed with Creek Side B and B.
The house is spacious and comfortable. It has a huge balcony overlooking the creek. It made all my stay very pleasant.
My room was cosy. Comfortable bed and very clean beddings and towels.
Sharon is a welcoming and generous host who makes extra efforts for her guest to feel comfortable.
I will definitly return.
We had a minor issue upon arrival (not the fault of hosts) which was sorted quickly and efficiently by the friendly owners. The property is lovely, well-maintained, and close to an Aldi (perfect for self-catering). Faversham, Whitstable and Canterbury are all a short drive away - couldn't recommend more, and will certainly book again next time we're in Kent.
I absolutely loved everything! We came here to get away from city life, from work and stress and it has been such a relaxing experience. The cabin was super cosy and clean. The view was absolutely breathtaking! Its super close to many beautiful places in Kent like Whitstable, Canterbury, Faversham. We will be coming back in winter 100%.
Gorgeous room, fabulous ancient ceilings to gaze at in awe.....superb & vast comfy bed, an absolute delight. Dinner & breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly and accommodating in difficult circumstances. The location of the Sun Inn in Faversham's ancient (pedestrianised) heart is fantastic as well. Highly recommend.
A nice stay, the hotel has a great/sexy/cool vibe, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Feels like being in a swanky city hotel, in the middle of the Kent countryside! An excellent place for a date night. Brilliant to have two dining places / restaurants on site and a great bar and lounge area.
The apartment was clean, spacious, good facilities and the location was perfect.
Debbie our host was very friendly, attentive and very informative about things to see and do in and around Faversham. A great weekend, would stay here again.
It's an old pub and rooms are full of character, not like your perfect but clinical chain hotels. Owners were charming and breakfast was very good, so was dinner. Certainly I would go there again.
They only had 1 sauna working & 4 sun lounge in the pool area. We had 2 wait about 30mins 4 the sauna. We never had the opportunity to use the sun lounge. A lovely hotel but this ruined my stay.
Copton Thatch Lodge was very easy to find. It was very comfortable and although close to a road it wasn't noisy. Nice spacious shower and great garden for your sole use.
A great little find
We have enjoyed our time in Faversham very much. Our accommodation was perfect for our needs. Well equipped, clean, comfortable and conveniently located.
