Located in the bustling village of Williton, The White House is a Grade ll listed Georgian townhouse, nestling between the Quantocks, Exmoor and the West Somerset coast. The White House is a family-run guest house offering contemporary rooms with attached bathroom that boast Egyptian cotton bedding and a Freeview TV. Some rooms are located in the courtyard, away from the main house. Many rooms in the main house have original working sash windows and shutters and high ceilings. Using local produce, breakfast is cooked in an Aga and served in the breakfast room daily. Williton and the surrounding area has a selection of restaurants and pubs for evening meals. White House is a 12-minute drive to The Quantocks and only 26 miles from Exmoor National Park. Tropiquaria Wildlife Park is less than 5 minutes’ drive away.

Property info

White house hotel is a family run guest house with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere which has been recently refurbished to offer contemporary and comfortable 4 star accommodation. We have 14 rooms which include Four posters,superking,kingsize, twin and single and we have two family suites in which we happily cater for children of any age. All our rooms are en suite, with colour television, beverage tray, hairdryer and ironing facilities are available. Our comfortable beds are made with crisp, white, Egyptian cotton, lovely soft throws and fluffy white towels. All the rooms are stylishly furnished with pine and leather. The rooms in the main house have some lovely features including original working sash windows and shutters, high ceilings and lots of natural light. We serve breakfast in our bright and airy restaurant between 8.00am - 9:30am (but we are flexible) using local produce - we have been told by some that our breakfast is the best they have ever had. We also cater for vegetarians, special dietary needs and children. We use West Country tea & fresh ground coffee from Miles at Porlock and offer a huge range of jams, marmalade, honey and marmite.

The hotel is located within walking distance to the village shops and local amenities and is a 5 minute drive to the coast at Watchet. We are also ideally pl;aced to accommodate guests attending weddings at nearby St Audries Park.
