The host Jean was so lovely! She is very friendly and accommodating. It's amazing that she runs the whole place and does everything on her own! The White Lodge is immaculately clean and facilties are excellent. We were made to feel very welcome. The White Lodge is so close to the beach, literally you cross the road and you are there! It's only a short 20 minute walk further down the road to the main Pleasure Beach and attractions. The cooked breakfast was very nice too! We stayed in the Superior King Room, which is very spacious with a huge bed and has a nice Sea View.

We loved the White Lodge in Great Yarmouth. In fact that was the highlight of our trip to Great Yarmouth. Jean was an absolutely amazing super host. The house is majestic and big. Our room was spacious, so clean, great comfortable bed, clean sheets. The bathroom sparkling clean and had everything necessary. The breakfast was vast, delicious made with fresh, good quality ingredients. Lots to choose from. Jean takes very good care of her guests and is doing an absolutely amazing job keeping everybody distant and safe from any contamination. One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. The lodge is a few minutes walk from the center, much quieter location. Very pleasantly located just in front of the dunes and quieter piece of the beach.

  • Do you have a ground floor room, my wife is disabled and cannot climb stairs

    Hello Thank you for getting in touch. I just have one ground floor room. It’s not specifically a disabled room so you have to step up into the shower! I have had disabled people staying in there and they have managed somehow! Many thanks. Jean

The White Lodge is a 1930s building. It was built as a private residence and is well situated in an enviable location just across the road from the beach. It is in a nice peaceful, residential area but only a 15 minute walk from the town.

We have owned The White Lodge since December 2007. Since we bought it, we have gone from strength to strength turning a little used Guest House into a thriving business. We welcome anyone looking for excellent standards of accommodation

Lovely beach just a 30 second walk away. Quiet residential area. A 15 minute walk brings you to restaurants, pubs, cinema, bowling alley, sea life centre, model village, amusement arcades.
