Large room with a comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Bar prices reasonable. Good location for the railway station.

Friendly staff, great ‘pub food’ the whitebait is excellent- as are the hot chicken wings (they are hot!!) and I always have the Rib Eye steak as it’s perfectly cooked and well seasoned- making it better than many ‘posh places’ Brilliant friendly family run pub!
