“Great value for the money. My room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and kind. I also enjoyed having dinner in the pub--the lamb stew was excellent. They use fresh ingredients in their cooking. I was kind of a problem customer (unintentionally) and the staff was still unfailingly nice to me. I forgot to give them the room key when I checked out, and the manager had to track me down at the train station (a mile away) to get it back from me, as my train was leaving the station. Sorry! So don't be like me and forget to return your room key!”

“Very good location in the center of Skipton, excellent for exploring Yorkshires historic towns & beautiful countryside. The room was spacious, clean & well maintained. We had dinner in the restaurant. Both the choice on the menu & the quality of food was very good, as was breakfast, which was cooked to order. All staff were friendly & helpful. Good, secure & free parking on site.”
